We have an incredible animation team from the USC School of Cinematic Arts Animation Department on board with us! Check out their profiles and bios either from this page or from the crew page. Here is a quick example of the work they are doing right now to develop the Magic Clover animation sequence.

 ANIMATION TEAM

SYDNEY ROUSE  – Lead Animator. Eons ago, a middle school report card informed Sydney Rouse’s parents that she had a “devious” sense of humor. Little has changed since then. Originally from South Texas, Sydney is an animator by day and a comic book artist by night. Her passion for illustration, storytelling and Star Wars lead her to USC’s Animation and Digital Arts program. Since moving to LA, she has discovered a taste for both hand drawn and puppet animation. However, sequential art will always hold a special place in her heart.

KAYEE AU – Animator. For as long as she could remember, art has been Kayee’s ultimate lifelong passion. Ever since she was two, Kayee knew that her dream in life was to become an artist who inspired and encouraged others. Kayee is currently studying Animation and Digital Arts at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, where she will strive to continue serving her community through her talents. Her goal is to inspire the media and the world in a positive manner through animation.

CHARACTER AND LANDSCAPE DESIGN

KRISTINA LENDRUM– Lead Art Director and Concept Artist. Kristina was born with a pencil in her hand…that’s not really true, but it does seem like every other parent-teacher conference included instructors begging her parents to get her to stop drawing in class. Naturally she didn’t listen, and here she is. She is currently working on her senior thesis in addition to this project, and has done costume design, opening credits, and concept art for a number of other films. When she’s not busy drawing, collecting earrings, or immersing herself in medieval literature, she is found trying to be the 1,000th ghost at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion. TIFFANIE MANG – Artist. Even before she stepped into any art classes, Tiffanie was already picking up colored pencils and crayons, creating her own doodles from her mind at age three. Since then her talent for art has blossomed into her primary passion, and her lifelong goal is to become an artist who is able to inspire others through her innovative creations, whether it be through animations, graphic design, illustrations for books, or film. Tiffanie is currently studying Animation and Digital Arts in the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California.  With the priceless opportunity to learn and be inspired at such a wonderful facility, she will continue to make the best of the exciting possibilities that the animation world has to offer. Although education is her number one focus, Tiffanie also enjoys other side hobbies such as songwriting, singing, baking, and playing the piano. When she is not on campus, you will most surely always find her at the beach, her number one favorite spot for relaxing and sketching.  Please visit http://www.tiffaniemang.com/ to see more of her fine arts work and animations.

JOY HAN – Artist. Joy, a junior undergraduate animation major at University of Southern California, excels in lighting and environment design. Due to early contact in painting, her interest and talent for creating certain moods and atmospheres through colors has developed extensively. Her interest in the use of colors enabled her to participate in cultural conventions in Asia at ages 16-18, as well as a couple gallery shows displaying her work. After moving to Los Angeles for college, she has worked at TV8, USC’s television station, and has also collaborated with many interactive media students and production students to provide visuals for games and scripts.
